CB500-LT switching battery chargers

Charging process for 12V batteries:

• Bulk : battery charging with maximum current until the end-of-charge voltage is reached.
• Note: the end-of-charge voltage is reached only if the battery is efficient.
• Absorption : battery charging at constant end-of-charge voltage for a maximum time of 1h (or 30 minutes with I<5A).
• Float : Maintenance charging at a constant 13,5V voltage for a maximum time of 240 hours. If a high load lowers the battery voltage under 12,7V, the Bulk phase starts again.
• Refresh : The battery is charged at 14,5V for a maximum time of 30 minutes (or until I<5A). Once completed, the charging starts again from the Float phase.
• The high frequency switching technology allows high performances with small dimensions and limited weight.
