For over a decade, SUNBEAMsystem has driven the development of solar panels through innovative solutions. Drawing on our Swedish heritage and a strong focus on boating, we’ve created products tailored to everyday needs. This is especially evident in our latest update, where new technologies converge in a single panel. The Tough series is only surpassed by more advanced models that include a “plus” in their name.

The Tough series offers both eyelet and non-eyelet models, installed using a soft, flexible bonding agent (see the manual for approved types). It’s important to avoid an overly rigid bond.

For a faster, more professional result, we recommend any Tough panel with a “plus” in its name. These models come with a full-size 3M double-sided adhesive film that allows for significant panel expansion when needed.

TWO WORLD-FIRSTS IN ONE PANEL
The SUNBEAMsystem Shadow Optimized-IQ marks the beginning of a new era in marine solar technology. It is the first thin, flexible panel to combine a completely flush (hidden) cable outlet with an integrated microprocessor – a technical achievement never before realized.

Traditionally, users have been forced to make compromises. In series connections – for example, when certain types of charge controllers are required – one had to accept shorter panel lifespan, power losses, and bulky, unsightly junction boxes. With the SUNBEAMsystem Shadow Optimized-IQ, we turn this paradigm on its head. IQ panels support both parallel and series connections without compromise, with a microprocessor that outperforms traditional diodes in both durability and efficiency.
