The MAXA series combines a hard-wearing ETFE surface, high-efficiency SUNPOWER MAXXEON cells and SUNBEAMsystem’s own Swedish-developed technologies, normally found only in the more exclusive Tough series. This includes Shadow Optimized and Flushed Soft Junction, as well as a reinforced core – also inherited from the Tough product series.
The result is higher build quality and a longer lifespan, with increased charging capacity in a price segment where you would usually only find far simpler panels.
Installation is clean and straightforward thanks to the flat cable, which can be glued seamlessly along the roof. MAXA weighs significantly less than traditional rigid solar panels, making handling and installation even easier. The cells offer an impressive 22.3% efficiency, ensuring faster charging. They are also equipped with SUNBEAMsystem’s Shadow Optimized technology, providing maximum charging performance and extended service life.
Shadow Optimization
MAXA is equipped with SUNBEAMsystem’s unique Shadow Optimized technology, specially developed to make the panel more efficient under partial shading. This delivers higher energy yield and more consistent charging throughout the day.
On a traditional panel, even a small amount of partial shade can interrupt charging completely – not only hurting performance, but also stressing the panel and shortening its lifespan. Shadow Optimized counteracts both of these issues, ensuring reliable charging and a longer service life.
